Welcome to the MacroFactor Knowledge Base. This is where you can find anything you'd want to know about the basics of setting up a nutrition plan, or how to use all of the features in MacroFactor. We aimed to make the user interface as intuitive as possible, but MacroFactor has a lot of functions, features, and analytics that aren't present in most other nutrition apps, and our approach to food logging differs quite a bit from most other apps, so there will probably be a bit of a learning curve. This knowledge base will walk you through everything you need to know to get the most out of MacroFactor.

At its core, MacroFactor is an analytics-driven app. We use the weight and nutrition data you log to estimate your daily energy expenditure and make adjustments to your calorie and macronutrient targets.
